Craft Supplies:
- Free Earth Day Printable {grab the FREE FILE on box.com}
- White Cardstock Paper
- Color Printer
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- Pencil or Pen
- Paper Scissors
- Stapler or Glue
Directions:
- First grab and print out in color, our free earth day template printable on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need ONE print per craft.
- Next grab your piece of colored cardstock and the pencil.
- One by one, trace both of your child’s hands on the colored paper.
- Use scissors to trim out the two traced designs.
- Discard excess paper.
- Now it’s time to finish it off. To make it look like the hands are “hugging” the earth, glue the two handprint cutouts {one on each side} of the earth design.
- If desired, add other embellishments you see fit on your Earth Day paper piece. We added “happy earth day” with some simple scrapbook stickers around the earth design.
- Then display/gift proudly for all to see!

You can also use paint to complete this Earth Day idea! It’s the same printable but with two painted handprints instead of cutouts!
