Craft Supplies:
- Free Tree Branch Printable – on our landing page
- Cardstock Paper
- Popped Popcorn
- School Glue
- Pink Craft Paint
- Small Paper Plate
- optional materials – small paint brush
Directions:
- First grab and print the Blank Tree printable {listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
Various options to do this craft:
- Option 1 – Swirl a good amount of glue all over your tree template. Have children place their popcorn on top of the glue, until it’s completely covered and has the look they want. Set aside to let it dry completely. Once dry, have children carefully paint their glued on popcorn pieces with pink paint {using a small paint brush} before setting it aside to let it dry completely again.
- Option 2 – place a good amount of pink paint and school glue on a small paper plate {separate from each other} Then have children dip the popcorn in both, THEN stick it on the tree template to create a full tree.
- Option 3 – do a combination of both above and make it work for you! There is no right or wrong way for this craft!!!
