Pumpkin Footballs - Dollar Tree Craft

Crisp autumn air and freshly fallen leaves – that can only mean FOOTBALL season is soon upon us!!!

Although I’m not a huge football fan per say, I am a HUGE lover of anything pumpkin. And after a recent trip to my local Dollar Tree, these mini foam pumpkins just HAD to come home with me.

After playing around with some crafty ideas in my head, these adorable Mini Pumpkin Footballs were born. Best part? Not only are they super inexpensive {$1 per finished pumpkin} but they are also great for adults & kids to craft up too! Plus – they make for awesome table decorations for your football celebrations. Just paint and display!

So what are you waiting for? This idea doesn’t just have to be done with mini pumpkins either! Craft stores have various sizes right now {you just want something elongated versus fat} so you could actually make a FIELD full of Pumpkin Footballs if you want to {big & small!}

Happy crafting and decorating my friends!!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your footballs made from foam pumpkins on our Facebook page to see!

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
