It’s football season, and we’ve got the perfect way to show your team spirit: a painted paper cup football craft!

Paper Cup Turned Football Craft For Kids

Who is ready for some FOOTBALL today?!?! {the crowd ROARS w/excitement!!!}

If you haven’t guessed – today I’m adding another football themed kid craft to the Glued To My Crafts blog archives and this one is absolutely PERFECT for the little ones. This Paper Cup Football craft idea doesn’t cost a lot and the rules are simple – paint the “ball” and get ready for kickoff!!!

Painted Paper Cup Football Craft

There’s no better way to get in the game-day groove— grab some supplies and start crafting now!

Craft Supplies:

  • White Paper Cup – 1 per craft
  • Brown Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Large Paper Plate
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • School Glue

Directions:

  • First flip the paper cup over {bottom acing upwards} and place it on top of the large paper plate.
  • Squirt some brown craft paint on one of the edges of the paper plate.
  • Next have children paint the outside of the cup completely brown.
  • When they are done with that particular step, set aside the painted cup {still on the paper plate} to let it dry completely.
  • Now grab your white cardstock and cut a thin white strip to go around the cup, as well as some stitching for the side.
  • To finish off the football made from a paper cup craft, glue on the white cardstock pieces you just made, in their designated spots and display proudly for all to see!!!

Get in the spirit of the big game with this easy paper cup football craft idea for kids!

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • 1 Paper Cup
  • Craft Paint
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Foam Paint Brush

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!
