Craft Supplies:
- Large Pinecones {from nature – FREE!}
- Orange Craft Paint
- Small Paper Plate
- Small Paint Brush
- Green Pipe Cleaners
- Kid Friendly Scissors
Directions:
- First have your child paint their pinecones completely orange. This is simply done by dipping the paint brush in the paint, then on the pinecone tips. You may have to grab various sizes of paint brushes, to really get the paint all over.
- Set aside your pinecones to let them dry completely.
- To finish them off the pinecone pumpkins, cut your pipe cleaner in half and tie them to the top of the pinecone.
- Then using the end of a paint brush, wrap the pipe cleaner around it, to give the look of a spiral stem.
- Finally – display proudly!
