Craft Supplies:
Good news—this project doesn’t require any fancy materials! Most items you’ll likely already have at home or in your classroom. Here’s your checklist:

- Cardstock Paper {white}
- Gray Construction Paper
- Crayons
- School Glue or Glue Stick
- Googly Eyes
- Heart Stickers
- Embellishments
Now that you’ve got your supplies, it’s time for the fun part—tearing up the paper and building a bot!
Directions:
- First download and print the FREE I like you a “BOT” template listed above, on a single piece of cardstock paper. You will need to print ONE for each craft you want to do with your child.
- Have kids use crayons to color in the arms/legs in the robot design.
- Now help your child cut/tear their second sheet of gray paper into small pieces.
- Next grab the school glue and put a good amount of glue in the center of the robot’s body in the printable.
- Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s is completely covered.
- The final step is to add the googly eyes and heart shaped “buttons” to finish off the robot design.
- Once done decorating, set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting your child’s handmade Valentine’s Day robot card proudly!
