Get ready to get creative with your kiddos! Make some spooky memories and try this easy puffy paint ghost craft!

A puffy paint ghost craft for kids featuring white puffy paint, black paper eyes and mouth, and star-shaped glitter on colorful backgrounds. Text reads Puffy Paint Ghost and GluedToMyCraftsBlog.com.

Feeling a little spooky? Add some hauntingly fun to your day with this creative puffy paint ghost craft!

Little ones can enjoy hours of entertainment making their very own ghoulish masterpiece with simple and easy materials that you probably already have in your stash.

Not only is this project both educational and super entertaining, it also gives kids the opportunity to exercise their fine motor skills while having a blast at the same time.

So on that note, let’s gather up some white school glue, shaving cream, paper and other supplies for an afternoon that’s sure to bring out their inner artist.

They won’t be able to resist the urge to show off this cool Halloween-themed craft so be sure to grab the FREE provided ghost template as well!

A puffy paint ghost made from white fluffy material, black paper cutouts for eyes and mouth, and sparkly star-shaped glitter sits on purple paper. Colorful star-patterned sheets are beneath it.

THE HOW-TO DIRECTIONS AND FREE PRINTABLE:

To “bring to life” this textured craft idea, just download our provided ghost shape printable and print it out on gray cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.

Now for the fun part – make your homemade puffy paint using shaving cream and school glue. My suggestion is to make it in a small paper bowl for easy disposal afterwards.

Once the paint is the consistency you like, add as much or as little as you like to the outline of the ghost.

To finish if off, add some loose craft glitter and black cardstock cutouts on top of the wet paint.

And that’s it! Allow it to dry completely before you display it as is or trim out the texture design afterwards and glue it to another piece of colored cardstock paper to make it super sturdy!

So on that note, I hope you have fun recreating this Halloween craft with your little crafter today! BTW – this idea would be great for a Halloween party as well – hint hint!

A children’s book titled There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Ghost!, a ghost figurine, plastic spiders, and a handmade puffy paint ghost craft with white paint and glitter on purple paper are arranged on a patterned surface.
