Fork Painted Hay In Farm Truck Craft

Get the kiddos excited to create with this adorable paper hay truck craft! It’s a fun and easy way to get their creativity flowing while inspiring their imaginations.
Craft Supplies:
- Truck Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Scissors
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- Plastic Fork
- Small Paper Plate
- Brown Tulip Puffy Paint
- Black Tulip Puffy Paint
- Gold, Loose Craft Glitter
- Fall Stickers
Directions:
- First things first – print out the FREE farm truck template listed above, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
- Now grab your scissors and the printed printable.
- Trim out the truck shape from the paper.
- Discard excess paper.
- Now go ahead and take the truck cutout & glue it to the center of another piece of colored paper.
- Next up – grab your brown puffy paint, the plastic fork and your small paper plate.
- Squirt some paint in the center of the plate.
- Dip the bottom of the plastic fork in it.
- Using the fork as a “paint brush” you are going to want to paint on some lines of “hay” to the back of the green truck, on your paper. You can add a ton or just a few strokes.
- When done adding the painted hay element, go ahead and sprinkle some loose craft glitter on top of the wet paint.
- Shake off any loose glitter into the trash can.
- Next up – use the black puffy paint to draw some lines {like a tic-tac-toe board} that will really tie the theme of a hay barrel in the back of truck.
- Finally – add any other embellishments you see fit. I added a scarecrow sticker from Hobby Lobby but you can of course use anything you might have on hand already.
- When done, set it all aside to let it dry completely.
- Now display your Paper Hay Truck art work proudly for ALL to see!
- Don’t forget to snap some pics and share them with us, as well! #gluedtomycrafts
