- Grab your scissors and the oven printable. Trim out the oven shape, as well as the rectangle center from it. Discard excess paper. Set aside.
- Now grab your cookie cutter shape, pencil and tan cardstock. Trace/cut out a few cookies to be placed inside your oven. Decorate them with the Sharpie markers. Set aside.
- Next up – grab the aluminum foil and cut a thin strip for the “cookie sheet” that the cookie will lay on. Set aside.
- Now grab your clear contact paper. Cut out TWO pieces that are slightly bigger than the oven cutout.
- Remove the backing from one piece of contact paper. Lay it on a flat surface. Place the oven cutout, face down, on the contact paper.
- Next have children add their gingerbread man cutouts and aluminum piece inside.
- Once they are done creating the contents, grab the second piece of contact paper.
- Peel off the backing and place it on top of the other piece of contact paper, moving your hand around to “squish” everything together.
- To finish off the Gingerbread Men Cookies In Oven craft, use your scissors to trim around the oven/remove the excess contact paper.
- Then display proudly for all to see!
