Stained Glass Pumpkin Spice Latte - Kid Craft Idea For Fall

Pumpkin Spice Stained Glass Latte Craft Idea For Kids

Today I want to focus on my favorite “part” of fall – pumpkin spice. Are you a lover of this “flavor” as well?

You can call me basic at this point… I honestly don’t care! This time of year, I’m the crazy girl drinking the lattes, buying the various packaged pumpkin flavored goods and lighting every candle in our home, in hopes of making fall appear in Florida.

So for those who want to make something crafty in honor of the “pumpkin spice everything” season, let’s talk about this Stained Glass Latte craft idea. Originally I had “kid craft” in the title of this post {like I usually do with my Glued To My Crafts tutorials} but you know what? This idea is ALSO great for adults! So let’s just say, there is no age limit on this DIY idea! I want EVERYBODY AND EVERYONE to recreate it today! Even if you don’t like pumpkin spice or coffee 😉

Now what are you waiting for? Let’s grab those craft supplies and stir up a “delicious” stained glass pattern craft today! Find the hand-drawn by me template below, as well as all the steps. Don’t forget to drink a latte in honor of your creations!

Happy crafting, my friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your paper latte creations with us! You can find us on Instagram for easy tagging! #gluedtomycrafts

Directions:

  • First print the FREE latte template above. You will want one printable, per pumpkin spice latte craft.
  • Grab your scissors and the latte printable. Trim out the latte cup shape, as well as the TWO rectangular shapes inside the cup. Discard excess paper. Set aside.
  • Now grab your clear contact paper. Cut out TWO pieces that are bigger than the cup cutout.
  • Remove the backing from one piece of contact paper. Lay it on a flat surface. Place the coffee cup cutout, face down, on the contact paper.
  • Next decorate the inside of their pumpkin spice cup however you like {I just did several squares of orange tissue paper inside mine}
  • Once you are done creating the contents, grab the second piece of contact paper.
  • Peel off the backing and place it on top of the other piece of contact paper, moving your hand around to “squish” everything together.
  • To finish off the Stained Glass Pumpkin Spice Latte Cup craft, use your scissors to trim out the cup/remove the excess contact paper. Add a pumpkin sticker in the center/on the coffee sleeve, to tie it together. Then display proudly on a window with tape!!!
