This handmade Ribbon Height Keepsake Ornament is very special indeed! Capture your child’s height in a unique and one-of-a-kind way!
We are taking inexpensive plastic ornament bulbs and placing a ribbon inside to make a creative piece that can be used on the Christmas tree or even as home decor, all year long!
I can’t take all the credit on this one. This DIY height ornament is actually something my son’s 1st grade teacher did with her class, this past Christmas holiday.
When it came home to us, I immediately thought “This is sooooo cute!” Then it dawned on me – “Oh My God! I need to recreate this and share it with my readers ASAP!”
And with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I couldn’t wait! I thought this idea could go beyond the traditional Christmas tree ornament and be a great keepsake for the lovestruck holiday, maybe even Mother’s Day!
So whether you use our free printable for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or whatever – I hope the inspiration started right here on Glued To My Crafts!
