I can’t take ALL the credit for today’s Pasta Noodle Christmas Wreath Ornament kid craft tutorial.

This craft was actually something my 1st grader came home with from school and it was just TOO CUTE not to share with you all today!

I personally love how sturdy this “ornament” is considering the materials {the spray paint really helps with that!} and I’m actually planning on wrapping it up with our Christmas decor to keep for next year {I’m THAT mom – ha!}

Christmas Wreath Ornament

Get in the holiday spirit with this easy pasta noodle Christmas wreath ornament craft that kids will love making!

Craft Directions:

  • By the looks of it, it’s just a simple small paper plate with the center cut out and then kids glued on dried macaroni noodles all over it, until it was completely covered.
  • I asked my son if he spray-painted his piece green but I relieved to hear that he didn’t {I don’t recommend kids doing that step at all – only adults!} He said “teacher did.”
  • I’m assuming, once it was dry {probably the next day} they then hot glued on a plastic bow {probably from Dollar Tree} and some red rhinestones for the berries.
  • Some ribbon is attached to the back for easy hanging, as well as his name & age written by him.
  • All together, this Macaroni Christmas Wreath Ornament idea looks easy-peasy to recreate and I hope my pictures maybe inspires something within you & your child as well!

Don’t let the fun stop here!

So a HUGE shoutout to my son’s 1st grader teacher for doing this DIY with the class! My son said he really enjoyed making it and I’m one proud mama who WILL be hanging it on the tree, year after year!

On that note – be sure to also check out our Tissue Paper Christmas Wreath version as well! I bet these two ideas would pair together nicely on a day where you are stuck indoors! Happy crafting, my dear friends! #gluedtomycrafts
