It’s the Glued To My Crafts way – when dinner time inspires craft time in our home! On that note, today I present to you our Pasta Airplanes kid craft tutorial and it’s perfect to beat the summer blues with. It’s unique, creative and unexpected too!
Using a few inexpensive, dried lasagna pasta noodles from your pantry, you and your child can make a one-of-a-kind HIGH IN THE SKY airplane with ease on paper!
If you raid your craft stash for embellishments, you will have complete customization at your fingertips and it won’t cost a lot of accomplished either!

Craft Supplies:
* Dried Lasagna Noodles {1 per noodle airplane craft}
* Jumbo Popsicle Stick {1 per noodle airplane craft}
* Mini Popsicle Stick {1 per noodle airplane craft}
* Blue Cardstock Paper
* Thick Tacky Glue
* Craft Paint/Tulip Puffy Paint
* Colorful Loose Craft Glitter

Directions:
* First glue down your jumbo popsicle stick and mini popsicle stick to the center of your cardstock, to create the base of your airplane.
* Follow that up by gluing down the lasagna noodle on top for the airplane wings.
* Now it’s time for the custom embellishments- have children go wild on this step! We used puffy paint and glitter on ours but really there are no rules to this step! Remember you can also add rhinestones, buttons, feathers – whatever you have on hand!
* Once done decorating your airplane made out of pasta, set it all aside to let it dry completely.
* Then display proudly for ALL to see!!!

- First glue down your jumbo popsicle stick and mini popsicle stick to the center of your cardstock, to create the base of your airplane.
