Popsicle Stick Frog – Kid Craft Idea
Inspired by the children’s book It’s Mine by Leo Lionni, today I present to YOU our Popsicle Stick Frog kid craft idea!
Three selfish frogs live together on an island in the middle of Rainbow Pond. All day long they bicker: It’s mine! It’s mine! It’s mine! But a bad storm and a big brown toad help them realize that sharing is much more fun. With characteristic clarity, simplicity and exuberance, Leo Lionni makes it possible for kids to see themselves through the antics of others who share our world.
This frog made from popsicle sticks craft is super easy to make within minutes and it’s relatively inexpensive too! All it involves is a little bit of cutting and gluing. Basic stuff!
So let’s HOP to it! Check out the FULL tutorial below and get to work on creating this adorable frog themed craft today. Then display as is OR use it as a puppet while you read the book together! Whatever you do with today’s craft idea – I hope you enjoy doing it with your child!
Happy crafting my friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your finished frog puppet creations on our Facebook page to admire!
