To complete this craft, grab the free frog template file and print it onto a sturdy sheet of white paper or cardstock.

Have your kids tear the green construction paper into small pieces. This step is a lot of fun for little ones and provides excellent fine motor practice.

Squeeze a thin layer of school glue directly inside the black outline of the frog’s face on your printed page.

Ask the kids to stick their torn green paper pieces onto the wet glue. Keep adding pieces until the entire face is completely filled and textured.

Place two dots of glue on the top bumps of the frog’s head and press the googly eyes firmly into place. For an added step, add thumbprint red hearts all around the design.
