Christmas Tree In Window Craft

There are ONLY seven simple & inexpensive supplies you will need and it takes a total of 10 minutes to complete this Christmas window craft from start to finish. PLUS this popsicle stick frame holiday piece can be easily turned into an ornament by hot gluing string to the back of the finished piece!

Popsicle Stick Christmas Window

This Popsicle Stick Holiday Window tutorial is not only NOT complicated but it’s really EASY to assemble too! Perfect for a classroom or scout meeting project or even a fun family afternoon activity!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Green Cardstock Paper
  • Yellow Cardstock Paper
  • Paint Markers/Sharpies
  • Craft Scissors
  • School Glue or Low Temp Hot Glue Gun
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First assemble your popsicle stick window. Start off by gluing together a simple square and then gluing the remaining two popsicle sticks like a cross in the center.
  • Set it aside to let it dry completely.
  • Now you are ready for the cardstock pieces. Grab the black cardstock and cut out a square for the back of the window. You will want that piece to be a bit smaller than your popsicle stick frame. Set aside.
  • Now grab your green and yellow cardstock.
  • Cut out a simple triangular tree shape and a star.
  • Decorate those with your paint pens and markers to represent your Christmas tree.
  • To finish off your Popsicle Stick Christmas Tree In Window, have children glue the cardstock pieces in place.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit.
  • Then let it all dry completely before displaying proudly!
