Button Flag Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {9 per button flag craft}
* Small Red/White Buttons {various sizes and shapes}
* Blue Colored Cardstock
* School Glue
* Basic Craft Scissors
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your flag by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across}
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Now grab your blue cardstock and cut out a simple small rectangle to fit in the top left corner.
* Go ahead and glue it to the popsicle stick frame.
* Once done, it’s time for the button stripes! One by one – have children glue their buttons on to the popsicle stick piece in rows of red and white.
* Repeat for each stripe. Set aside to let it all dry completely.
* To finish off the Button Flag craft, have children add other embellishments they see fit and display proudly!!
