This handprint disco ball keepsake isn’t just another holiday craft—it’s a chance to celebrate the excitement of the season while involving your child in an activity that holds personal significance.

To recreate this “it’s my year to sparkle” disco ball keepsake craft, start by printing our provided file on a single sheet of WHITE cardstock paper. Have kids decorate/color in the disco ball design however they like.

Now decide if you want to do a painted handprint or paper handprint. Either/or will work! If working with paint, simply paint the palm and fingers of their hand & press it in the center of the colored in design. Allow the painted handprint on the paper to dry. If working with paper instead, simply trace/cut out their handprint and secure it to the center of the paper with a little bit of glue. For added sparkle add glitter glue around the design.

And that’s it! Children can add any other embellishments they like, like various star stickers, resulting in a beautiful and sentimental piece to kick off the new year!

This New Year’s Eve, create something magical with your little one. The “My Year to Sparkle” handprint disco ball is more than a craft—it’s a cherished memory, a token of reflection, and a celebration of all that lies ahead.
