Craft Supplies:

  • Free New Year’s Firework Sparkler Template {GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
  • White Cardstock Paper {or any color you like!}
  • Color Printer
  • Basic School Glue
  • Colorful, Loose Craft Glitter
  • optional materials for this craft – small star stickers

Directions:

  • First download and print the FREE Sparkler Printable listed above. You only need one print per kid/per craft.
  • To decorate their print, have children draw small dots of glue, as well as all over the sparkler part, on the printable.
  • Now have them shake their choice of color in glitter, on top of the glue, until it’s well covered.
  • Finally, shake off the excess glitter into a large bowl or into the trash can.
  • Then allow it to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see!!!
  • For a less messy version – skip the glitter and use various sizes of star stickers instead. You can also in-cooperate an ink pad and make thumbprint marks all over the sparkler, for a more personal look!
