Paper & Glitter Firework Sparkler Craft

Welcome friends! I’m so glad you landed on website today! Let’s me start off by saying that at Glued To My Crafts we LOVE celebrating EVERY holiday in a crafty way. Even New Year’s Eve should be celebrated with an art project on the table – am I right?

On that note, I’m encouraging YOU to set off those fireworks in a non-traditional {but crafty} way, by recreating our latest & greatest Glittery Paper Firework Sparkler New Year’s Eve craft idea. It’s perfect for children {and adults} of all ages to decorate as they wish! You could easily throw a few sheets of this paper project on a table at your New Year’s Eve party and have everyone, make one to show off!

Let everyone’s creativity shine bright this upcoming New Year’s holiday with this a simple and very affordable paper & glitter craft idea! In this post I’ve included a FREE firework sparkler template so all you need to do is download the file below, print it out on white cardstock and add some “sparkle” by gluing on a TON of glitter with some school glue of the design. Easy peasy fun for ALL the crafters at the party!

With so many ways to make this craft idea POP from your paper {maybe skip the glitter and add stickers, if that’s why you like instead!} I hope it inspires some crafty and sparkly fun in your celebrations!

Today’s craft idea will have your kids feeling like they’re celebrating New Year’s Eve in style! Check out this paper firework sparkler kid craft idea which includes a free printable template.

Craft Supplies:

  • Sparkler Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Loose Craft Glitter
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First download and print the FREE Sparkler Printable listed above. You only need one print per kid/per craft.
  • To decorate their print, have children draw small dots of glue, as well as all over the sparkler part, on the printable.
  • Now have them shake their choice of color in glitter, on top of the glue, until it’s well covered.
  • Finally, shake off the excess glitter into a large bowl or into the trash can.
  • Then allow it to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see!!!
  • For a less messy version – skip the glitter and use various sizes of star stickers instead.
  • You can also in-cooperate an ink pad and make thumbprint marks all over the sparkler, for a more personal look!
