Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by crafting a memorable keepsake with your little one?!
This holiday, combine creativity and family bonding with a footprint turkey keepsake craft that’s not only fun to make but also creates a cherished memory for years to come. Not to mention, it’s a great gift to give to parents and/or grandparent’s on the big day!
In this super quick tutorial, we’ll guide you through creating a delightful turkey craft using your little ones’ footprints, making it the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving tradition. Get ready to discover how this simple yet meaningful activity can bring joy and excitement to your home this holiday season.
To complete this “from your little turkey” craft, the first thing you need to do is print our provided file, on a single sheet of WHITE cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft, as well as coloring materials and washable craft paint with a foam paint brush.
Next up, help young children color in the printed turkey design with crayons or markers. At this point in time, you can also add some small wiggle eyes for some flair.
Then, when ready, it’s time for paint! Help children make TWO painted footprints, for the turkey’s feet, on the paper. One on each side of the turkey design. If children’s feet are too big for our free file, simply do the footprint designs on another piece of paper and when they are dry enough, trim them both out to glue to the keepsake printable instead.
And that’s it! Children can of course add any other embellishments they see fit and then they will have a beautiful and sentimental piece to remember the big day!
We hope this latest turkey footprint freebie from Glued To My Crafts comes in handy for you! Happy crafting, my friends! #gluedtomycrafts
