Get your kids in the holiday spirit with this festive and fun “Fork Painted Christmas Candle” craft idea from us! All you need is a paper, paint and a plastic fork to recreate a special project that your kids will love.

To complete this advent inspired Christmas craft, the first thing you need to do is print out our FREE printable {listed above} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.

Next up, squirt some green paint right under the candle design. You don’t need a lot. Maybe the size of a quarter.

Now take your fork – which is your “paint brush” and spread the paint ALL around to make the greenery come to life on the paper. Add more paint if you like. It doesn’t have to be perfect at all so feel free to change it up. At this point in time you can also add some loose craft glitter on top for sparkle.

The final step is to add a few red buttons on top to give the appearance of berries. And that’s it for this fork painted hedgehog craft! You can of course add any other embellishments you see fit. Allow it to dry completely before displaying proudly for all to see!

We hope this latest Christmas tutorial from Glued To My Crafts inspires you! Happy crafting, my friends! Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook so you never miss a new tutorial from us! #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
