‘Tis the season to get crafty! This cardboard roll Christmas candle craft is an easy, fun activity that kids of all ages will love – perfect for spreading holiday cheer!
Craft Supplies:
- Toilet Paper Roll
- White Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Large, Green Cupcake Liners – 2 per craft
- Glitter Cardstock Paper
- Stapler
- Red Buttons
- Hot Glue Gun
Directions:
- First things first – flatten the toilet paper roll and staple it on both ends to make a rectangle piece.
- Next up – have children paint one side of their newly flattened toilet paper roll, completely white.
- When done painting, set aside the cardboard tube to let it dry completely.
- While that is drying, grab the TWO cupcake liners.
- Flatten them out and fold them in half. These will be the greenery around the candle.
- At this point in time you should also cut a “flame” from the glitter cardstock paper.
- To finish off the Toilet Paper Roll Candle – staple the two cupcake liners in place {one on each side{} as well as the paper flame.
- Then take the glue gun and hot glue THREE red buttons onto the craft.
- Let it dry completely before displaying your cardboard tube holiday candle piece proudly!!!
