Make a beautiful holiday wreath for the Advent season with simple supplies: paper plate, paint, our candle printable & more!

Get crafty this holiday season and make an adorable “Christmas paper plate advent wreath” using cardstock paper, paint, and ribbon!
Get your kids in the Christmas spirit with this fun and easy “paper plate Christmas Advent wreath” craft idea! This is the perfect holiday activity for making lasting memories as a family.
Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate – one per craft
- Craft Scissors
- Paint Crayons
- White Cardstock Paper
- Candle Printable – on our landing page
- Red Cardstock Paper
- Marker/Pencil
- Stapler
- Ribbon
Directions:
- First things first – cut out the center of your paper plate, leaving a simple ring for the wreath.
- Discard the center of the paper plate.
- Next, color the entire paper plate ring completely green with a paint crayon.
- When done painting, set aside.
- Now grab your candle printout.
- Color in the flame of one of the candles.
- Trim it out and set aside for now.
- Finally – the red handprints for the front. Trace and trim out both of your hands from the paper.
- The final step is to secure everything in place on the paper plate. Start off with the candle in the center and follow that up with the two handprint cutouts {like a bow} on the front.
- For easy hanging, staple a simple “looped” bow on the back.
- Then display proudly for all to see!
