This festive season is the perfect time to get creative with your kids and have fun celebrating Christmas together!

Paint Splat Santa Belly Craft For Kids

HO HO HO! Get your kids in the holiday spirit with this fun red Santa craft! Have them create their own unique work of art and watch as the Christmas magic unfolds in front of your eyes!

Craft Supplies:

  • Belt Buckle Printable – on box.com
  • Color Printer
  • White Cardstock Paper {2 sheets!}
  • Scissors
  • Red Puffy Paint – affiliate link
  • Loose Craft Glitter
  • School Glue

Directions:

  • First print out the free belt buckle printable listed above on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Cut out one of the designs and set everything aside for now.
  • Now grab your second sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Fold it in half {either direction works!}
  • Now unfold and squirt some RED fabric paint on one side of the paper. Just a few squiggles will do. Just be sure to keep the paint inside the paper and not to close to the open edge. Also, less is more!
  • Once the paint is down, go ahead and carefully fold up/squish your piece of paper together again.
  • Rub your hand all over the folded piece, so the paint will make a symmetrical splat inside.
  • Now carefully unfold your piece to reveal your “Santa belly” design.
  • If desired, sprinkle some loose craft glitter on top of the wet puffy paint design.
  • To finish the platter Santa craft – glue the belt buckle cutout in the center of the paint design.
  • When you are done crafting, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly.
