The statement is TRUE! Not all heroes wear capes!!!
So with Veterans Day approaching in the coming days, I was inspired to make this handprint keepsake to share with you all! Perfect to say “thank you for your service” in a heartfelt way!
Inspired by my own hero who dresses in camo everyday for us, I was inspired to make this simple handprint printable with my son recently.
I think this military inspired craft idea is great for those who want to recreate it at home, as well as those in a classroom setting. Just imagine doing these prints with your students and handing out the finished products to those attending your Veteran’s Day programs. It doesn’t even need to be child to parent. It’s the small gestures in life and I hope you like this particular idea as well!
Now download the file below and get to work on making a one-of-a-kind “thank you for your service” handprint piece with your children today! Then gift it away while thanking the receiver for their service.
Happy crafting and gifting your wonderful creations, my friends! Don’t forget to share your pictures of your “not all heroes wear capes” paper creations, with using the hashtag #gluedtomycrafts or tag us on Facebook for us to see!
