Inspired by my son and his current LOVE of trucks – here is my Thumbprint Hearts In A Valentine Truck kid craft tutorial!

It’s perfect to add to your Valentine’s Day craft plans. And with the FREE truck printable I’ve included in the post below, you are sure to have a LOAD of fun recreating it!

Fingerprint Hearts in Valentine’s Day Truck

Want to recreate this thumbprint hearts in truck craft with your child today? Simply keep scrolling to find the FREE downloadable template, in the supply list below.

Then print the red truck out on a single sheet of white cardstock paper and have children add their thumbprint “hearts” to the back, to complete the lovestruck themed craft. It’s super simple from start to finish and rather inexpensive too! We are talking cents to make it happen!

After your child is done making the craft, I highly encourage you to place your child’s finished “truck” piece in a beautiful frame and use it as decor, all season long, year after year!

SUPPLIES AND DIRECTIONS:

  • All you need to do is grab our FREE VALENTINE LOVE TRUCK PRINTABLE {grab it on our Valentine’s Day landing page}
  • Go ahead and print it in color on some white cardstock paper.
  • Next up – have children add their red and pink thumbprint shaped “hearts” to the back of their printed truck design. Make sure you keep lots of baby wipes on hand for easy clean up during this process!
  • When they are done with the painted fingerprints, help them add have their own style & personality {if desired} with stickers, rhinestones or maybe even some glitter!
  • Then show off that beauty ’cause it will be a masterpiece!!!
  • My favorite part of all is that this DIY craft is perfect to frame afterwards as Valentine’s Day decor 😉 I hope that little tidbit alone inspires you to get crafty with the kids today!!! Heck – you can even make one too!
