Green Grinch Slime Recipe Tutorial To Make This Christmas

Are you looking for an easy activity to do with your little ones this holiday season that is both creative and fun? Look no further! This Grinch green glitter slime tutorial will have your house feeling festive in no time.

Whether you’re a mom, teacher, educator, crafter or just someone who loves to be creative – this step by step guide on how to master the perfect batch of gooey green Grinch-inspired slime has everything you need to make sure that every parent and child’s heart swells three sizes bigger.

So with that being said, melt their hearts with our simple and tried-true slime recipe below! Grinch Slime Tutorial

Looking for some easy and festive craft ideas for kids this Christmas season? Look no further than this simple Grinch inspired slime tutorial!

SLIME SUPPLIES:

  • 1/4 cup Elmer’s Magical Liquid
  • 6 oz Green Elmer’s Glitter Glue
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Small, Loose Red Heart Glitter

DIRECTIONS:

  • First grab your mixing bowl and spoon.
  • Pour out the entire contents of a 6 oz bottle of Elmer’s green glitter glue into the bowl.
  • Next add in 1/4 cup of Elmer’s Magical Liquid slime solution, into the bowl and mix it together with the green glitter glue.
  • Continue mixing until your slime forms and it starts to get hard to mix.
  • Take the slime out of the bowl and place it on a clean/washable surface.
  • Begin kneading it with both of your hands.
  • If needed, add more of magical slime solution to make the slime less sticky.
  • Finish off by adding a handful of decorative hearts into the slime mixture. Then get ready for some Grinch-themed fun!!!

Adult supervision is required. This project is NOT appropriate for children under the age of three. Slime should not be consumed and always wash your hands after playing with your creation.

Grinch Inspired Slime

Don't be a wicked "grinch" this Christmas season, moms and dads! Make some easy-peasy green slime with your child today!!!

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Measuring Spoons
  • 1/4 cup Elmer's Magical Liquid
  • 4 fl oz Elmer's White School Glue
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Small Decorative Hearts {or heart glitter}

Instructions
 

  • First grab your mixing bowl and spoon.
  • Pour out the entire contents of a 4 oz bottle of Elmer's school glue into the bowl.
    4 fl oz Elmer's White School Glue
  • Next add in 1/4 cup of Elmer's Magical Liquid slime solution, into the bowl and mix it together with the white school glue.
    1/4 cup Elmer's Magical Liquid
  • Now add ONE drop of green food coloring {too much makes the slime too dark for a Grinch color so be careful!}
    Green Food Coloring
  • Carefully stir your mixture.
  • Continue mixing until your slime forms and it starts to get hard to mix.
  • Take the slime out of the bowl and place it on a clean/washable surface. Begin kneading it with both of your hands.
  • If needed, add more of magical slime solution to make the slime less sticky.
  • Finish off by adding a handful of decorative hearts into the slime mixture. Then get ready for some Grinch-themed fun!!!
