Summer is the perfect time to fire up your creativity along with the grill! This adorable popsicle stick hamburger craft brings all the fun of a backyard BBQ into your craft room. Whether you’re looking for a rainy day activity, planning a summer camp project, or want to create something special with the kids, this craft delivers big on fun and creativity.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 9 per craft
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Brown Craft Paint
  • White Craft Paint
  • Pink Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Green Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Scissors
  • Small Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First assemble the base of your hamburger friend by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across.}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Now grab your brown craft paint, paint brush and popsicle stick square base.
  • Have children paint the front of it completely brown {the beef patty} while you cut out some “hamburger buns and lettuce” from the cardstock paper.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Hamburger craft, have children glue the cardstock paper pieces to the painted popsicle stick design, along with drawing on a face with the remaining paint.
  • Don’t forget to also glue on the wiggle eyes so he has some personality!
  • Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
