PAIR OUR CRAFT WITH —> Paper Plate Flamingo
A fun and easy flamingo art project perfect for kids – just grab some craft sticks and let your little ones unleash their creativity.
Craft Supplies:
- Jumbo Craft Sticks
- School Glue
- Pink Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Large Wiggle Eyes
- Orange Pipe Cleaner
Instructions:
- First things first – glue your SIX craft sticks together in an “L” shape. Three popsicle sticks on three popsicle sticks to make the body shape of your flamingo}
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Repeat for each flamingo you want to make today.
- Once done, paint your craft stick shape/flamingo body completely pink.
- If desired, add a few pink feathers on top of the wet paint before setting aside.
- Now grab your black cardstock paper.
- Cut out a pointed nose for each flamingo you are making.
- To finish off your Craft Stick Flamingo – glue your cardstock nose and wiggle eye in place.
- Then bend your orange pipe cleaner to create flamingo legs and glue it on the painted craft stick shape.
- Add other embellishments you see fit, before setting aside to let it dry completely.
- Display proudly and snap a few pictures to share with us on our Facebook page!
