I’m sharing a Puffy Paint Splat The Cat themed kid craft idea that is absolutely PERFECT for ANY of the books in the beloved series!
With the free printable I’m sharing today, you and your child can easily make a one-of-a-kind Splat The Cat Face piece within minutes!!! All you need to do is download the FREE printable below, print it out on cardstock paper and add your “paint splats” to make it come to life!!!

Puffy paint + Splat the Cat = one super fun craft project for kids!
Craft Supplies:
- Cat Face Printable {GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
- Color Printer
- White Cardstock Paper
- Light Tan Cardstock Paper
- Black Puffy Paint
- Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
- School Glue
- optional materials – loose craft glitter, markers
Directions:
- First grab the template listed above in the supply list.
- Print the file, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock {or any color you like!} You need ONE print per craft.
- Next up – fold your piece of cardstock in half.
- Unfold and squirt some black paint on one side of the paper. Be sure to keep the paint close to the middle of the paper.
- Once the paint is down, go ahead and fold/squish your piece of paper together again.
- Take your hand and rub it all over the folded piece, so the paint inside will cover your design nicely.
- Now carefully unfold your paper piece to reveal your black splat design inside.
- To finish the Puffy Paint Splat The Cat – glue on some cardstock facial embellishments, that you cut out of your remaining cardstock paper.
- When done decorating his face, set aside your piece to let it dry completely.
- If you like – you can also cut out the finished paints splat {but completely dry!} design, glue it on another piece of paper and display it that way.

Instructions
- First print out our provided printable, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.
- Next up - fold your piece of cardstock paper in half.
- Unfold and squirt some black paint on one side of the paper {I like the Tulip Puffy Paint for this particular step since it's in a nice controlled squirt bottle} Be sure to keep the paint close to the middle of the paper.
- Once the paint is down, go ahead and fold/squish your piece of paper together again.
