This fun and easy tin man craft is perfect for kids of all ages! All you need are some popsicle sticks, aluminum foil, and a little bit of imagination to bring him to life today!
Craft Supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- Gray/Silver Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- School Glue
- Aluminum Foil
- White Cardstock Paper
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Pink Cardstock Paper
- Basic Craft Scissors
Directions:
- First assemble the base of your tin can man by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across.}
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Repeat for each tin man craft you want to make today.
- Next have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shape completely gray.
- Set aside to let it dry.
- Now grab your aluminum foil, cardstock paper sheets and scissors.
- Cut out embellishments to give him life!
- To finish off the Wizard of Oz craft, have children glue their cut out pieces to the front of the popsicle stick design.
- Then either decorate with glitter, rhinestones or even more craft paint before displaying proudly!!!
