Inspired by my birthday last week and just the fact that you should celebrate EVERYDAY – today I present to YOU our Popsicle Stick Candles idea!
Perfect for pretend play {we put them in playdough} or you can actually use them for actual cake decorations!
Best part? They are super simple to make so the kids can get involved in the creation part!!!
Did I mention they only cost a few cents to make? Awesome – right?! So let’s grab those supplies and CELEBRATE in true crafty style! Happy crafting my friends and don’t forget to blow out those candles with a smile!!!
Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
* Craft Paint {or paint markers}
* School Glue
* Yellow Cardstock
* Scissors
Directions:
* First paint your jumbo popsicle sticks however you like. Once done, set aside to let them dry completely.
* While those are drying, go ahead and cut out some “flames” from the yellow cardstock.
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Candles – glue the paper flames in place and let them dry completely before displaying/playing with proudly! Psst – you can also add glitter to the cardstock flames for a festive look!
