Handprint Mustache Craft Idea For Father’s Day

Handprint Mustache Craft Idea For Kids

Get crafty this Father’s Day! Surprise dad with this adorable handprint mustache craft. It’s a fun way to show him how much you care!

Let your child’s imaginations run wild as they create something memorable for dad with this fun and easy activity from us!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate
  • Skin Tone Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Scissors
  • Free Printable – on our landing page
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons, Coloring Pencils or Markers
  • Glue Stick
  • Stapler
  • Large Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First things first – start off the craft by taking the large paper plate and painting it completely with the skin-tone colored paint.
  • When done painting, set it aside to let it dry completely.
  • Now grab your black cardstock paper and a tracing utensil.
  • Trace and cut out TWO handprints for the mustache element of the craft.
  • Now grab the light tan and cut out a small oval shape for the nose.
  • Set those pieces aside for now.
  • Next up, take the printed printable and color in the hat design however you like.
  • When done coloring, trim out the two designs in the printable.
  • Discard excess paper.
  • Now we are heading towards the final steps of the tutorial! Gather all your paper elements, along with your stapler AND glue stick.
  • Start off by stapling the hat in place on top of the painted paper plate.
  • Follow that up with the handprint cutouts and nose shape in the center..
  • Finish off by gluing wiggle eyes and adding the wording cutout towards the bottom of the decorated paper plate.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit and get away to gift it away!
