Horton Hears A Who Craft Idea w/Popsicle Sticks

In celebration of Read Across America next week AND Dr. Seuss’ birthday – here is another Dr Seuss themed craft tutorial and I call it our Popsicle Stick Horton craft!

Not only is this friendly popsicle stick elephant super simple to make BUT this adorable creature also goes along perfectly with the beloved classic “Horton Hears A Who!” by Dr Seuss {affiliate link}

Horton is back! After his first appearance in Horton Hatches the Egg, everyone’s favorite elephant returns in this timeless, moving, and comical classic in which we discover that “a person’s a person, no matter how small.” Thanks to the irrepressible rhymes and eye-catching illustrations, young readers will learn kindness and perseverance (as well as the importance of a good “Yopp”) from the very determined—and very endearing—Horton the elephant.

So what are you waiting for? Grab those craft supplies and make this awesome Horton themed kids craft with your child today! Be sure to also head to your local library and read some Dr. Seuss books in honor of your crafty venture! Happy crafting my friends!
