Candy Grams For Valentine’s Day!

Happy Monday my friends!! Are you ready for another “crafty” week? If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that my husband was recently away for military training. He’s safely back home now and we are slowly getting back into the groove of things.

Although my husband was only gone for two weeks total, it seemed like forever. In fact – this past year seems like a blur. On top of the deployment last year, every time he would come back from a training he would be scheduled for another right after.

And of course, they were always a plane trip away. It just seemed endless because the suitcase never got put away. BUT with my fingers crossed as I write this very post, this past training is the last FOR AWHILE. Least we think so anyways!

If you happened to be in the Denver airport last week, you may have stumbled across our cute kid holding up a sign. Yeah – he likes to give out smiles to everyone and melt their hearts. I told my husband “I’m not crying because of you. I’m crying because Lil Man was just too adorable when he saw you.” <—– true statement!

Besides the welcome home sign my son & I made for special occasion – I also wanted to give my husband a little something “sweet” to greet him back. After all, he works really hard for us and the last few months have been rough. I just wanted to give him something to say “hey – we love you!”

But instead of getting him something he has already/doesn’t need {cause all men are hard to shop for!} I decided a basket full of candy for his desk was in order. He works an office job and like most – he gets the munchies sometimes. So after a quick trip to the grocery store, everything was coming together nicely. But it was lacking something. So I got on my computer {most importantly – thanks to picmonkey.com} and I created this Candy Grams printable that I later attached to some candy boxes, to give the gift some “meaning.”

And because I like sharing with my readers – today you can grab the free file via box.com, print it out on white cardstock and create this very gift for someone special in your life too! I suggest printing the file on some cardstock and attaching it to the candy with washi tape.

I’m also highly encouraging these printable candy tags for Valentine’s Day but honestly {let’s face it} they are so generic, they can be used ANY day of the year!
