Are you looking for a fun and adorable craft idea to do with kids this spring season? This Cotton Ball and Handprint Sheep Craft is perfect for little hands and big imaginations!
Whether it’s for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or just a creative afternoon, this project is easy, engaging, and makes a heartfelt keepsake!
Craft Supplies:
- Colored cardstock paper {your background}
- Black paper
- White cotton balls
- Googly eyes
- Glue stick or craft glue
- Scissors
- Marker or pen
Directions:
- First things first – trace your hand (or your child’s hand) on black paper using a marker or pen.
- Cut out the handprint carefully. This will form the sheep’s body and legs.
- Glue white cotton balls onto the palm area of the handprint. Leave the fingers uncovered as they represent the sheep’s legs.
- Cut out a small oval or circle from the black paper for the sheep’s head.
- Attach googly eyes to the head and glue it onto the top of the handprint, just above the cotton balls.
- Write a message on the card, such as “Love you” at the top and “maaaa!” at the bottom.
- Add small red paper hearts or draw them with a marker for extra decoration.
- Allow it to dry completely before you display/gift it away proudly!
