- Use your choice of coloring medium to color in ONE of the bear shapes. Go ahead and customize it however you like.
- Once done decorating it, use scissors to trim out the shape.
- Discard excess paper and set aside the paper piece for now.
- Next up – layer strips of blue and teal crepe paper horizontally across the light blue cardstock to create a textured, moving water effect. Secure each strip down with a line of glue. Tip: Letting the edges ruffle slightly gives the water great dimension!
- Take a small paper plate and carefully cut out the center circle to turn it into a donut-shaped swim ring. Use paint to add bright summer stripes around the rim of the plate.
- Glue the painted paper plate raft directly onto the crepe paper waves. Then, position the bear so he is tucked into the center of the raft, looking like he is happily drifting down the river. Let everything dry completely.
