- Cardstock Paper – white
- Construction Paper – black & yellow
- Small White Paper Heart Doilies
- Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
- School Glue or Glue Stick
- Googly Eyes
- Embellishments

Directions:
Penguin Perfection: Torn Paper Craft with a Heartfelt Twist!
- First download and print the FREE you are “waddle I do without you” to me template listed above, on a single piece of cardstock paper. You will need to print ONE for each craft you want to do with your child.
- Have kids use crayons to color in the two little feet in the penguin design.
- Now help your child cut/tear their sheet of black construction paper into small pieces.
- Next grab the school glue and put a good amount of glue inside the body design in the printable.
- Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s is completely covered.
- The final step is to add the heart shaped belly, googly eyes and triangle cutout nose, to finish off the penguin’s face.
- Once done decorating, set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting your child’s adorable penguin card proudly!
This craft is not only a great way to encourage fine motor skills and creativity, but it’s also a wonderful opportunity to talk about penguins, their icy habitats, and how they stick together to stay warm!
