Get ready to stir up some Halloween magic with this coding label bubbling witch cauldron craft! Using simple materials, kids can create their own spooky cauldron filled with “bubbling potion.” It’s a perfect activity for classrooms, parties, or a cozy crafting session at home!

Craft Supplies:

Before you get started, gather the following materials:

  • Small Black Paper Plate
  • Purple Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue Stick
  • Black Marker
  • Rainbow Colored Coding Dots
  • Embellishments/Halloween Stickers

Directions:

  • First things first – making the cauldron. Start with a small paper plate. If it’s not already black, paint it black and let it dry completely.
  • Next up – cut the plate in half. Straight up the center to create too equal pieces. You’ll use one half as the base of your cauldron.
  • Now take that single paper plate piece and glue it to the center of your purple cardstock paper.
  • Grab your black marker and draw two “footers” on the bottom of the paper plate, as well as some swirls coming from the cauldron.
  • To finish off the craft, start add coding dots {and your stickers} along the top of the cauldron design, letting it “overflow” to look like bubbling potion.
  • Once your paper plate bubbling cauldron is complete, display it on a wall, use it as a party decoration, or even turn it into a Halloween card by writing a message on the back!
