Handprint Smore Hug Craft Idea

Whether it’s a lovely fall day in the park or a cozy afternoon indoors, this project is perfect for kids eager to explore and express their creativity.

Handprint Smore Hug Craft Idea

Perfect for kids, this craft involves using handprints to create adorable smores with arms wrapped in a loving hug. Plus, the finished piece can becomes a fantastic gift for family members or friends, offering a personal touch that store-bought items simply can’t compete with.

Craft Supplies:

  • Marshmallow Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Pencil
  • Light Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Dark Brown Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Ribbon
  • Embellishments – Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the marshmallow printable, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Trim out the shape and discard excess paper.
  • Next grab your dark brown cardstock paper and a pencil.
  • Trace your hand TWICE on the paper.
  • Trim out both designs.
  • Out of the remaining light brown cardstock paper, cut out TWO long rectangle pieces for the graham crackers.
  • Now grab the ribbon and cut off TWO long pieces.
  • To finish off the handprint s’mores hug craft, simply staple the ribbon and handprint cutouts to each side of the marshmallow shape.
  • Follow that up by gluing on the “crackers” to the top and bottom.
  • Add the wiggle eyes, draw on a smile AND write a clever message on the handprint cutouts.
  • Then display as is or gift away to your handprint smore hug keepsake to spread some cheer this fall season!
