Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the spirit than with some fun, spooky crafts? This year, why not try your hand at making Torn Paper Ghost Cards with your kids?

Not only is this craft project easy and fun, but it’s also a fantastic way to engage your children in creative activities. Plus, it’s a wonderful opportunity to bond and make lasting memories together.

In this blog post, we’ll guide you through the steps to create these adorable ghost cards. We’ll cover everything from the materials you’ll need to step-by-step instructions, as well as some tips and tricks to make your cards stand out. Let’s get started!

Kids love getting their hands dirty and creating something unique. This torn paper ghost card craft is perfect because it allows them to tear, glue, and draw, combining various skills in one fun activity. Plus, the end result is a cute and spooky card they can proudly show off to friends and family.

Craft Supplies:

Creating your torn paper ghost card doesn’t require a long list of supplies. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • GHOST PRINTABLE {on our landing page}
  • Cardstock Paper {a dark shade}
  • White Computer Paper
  • School Glue
  • Googly Eyes
  • Two Wooden Clothespins
  • Small Piece of Red Paper
  • Scissors

These materials are easy to find and likely already available in your home. If not, a quick trip to a craft store will set you up nicely.

Directions:

  • First download and print the FREE you are FA-BOO-LOUS card template listed above, on a single piece of cardstock paper. You will need to print ONE for each craft you want to do with your child.
  • Now help your child cut/tear their second sheet of paper into small pieces.
  • Next grab the school glue and put a good amount of glue ALL over the inside of the ghost design on the printable.
  • Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until the body is completely covered.
  • Next up – have kids cut out a small heart shape that will be “held” by their ghost.
  • Help them pinch it in between the two clothespins. You will want it to look like “hands” holding the heart cutout.
  • Assist them on gluing it to the center of their torn paper design.
  • The final step is to add the googly eyes and any other embellishments they see fit.
  • Once done decorating, set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting proudly!

Directions:
