This craft idea from us is super simple, inexpensive, and perfect for children of all ages. In this post, we’ll walk you through how to create five adorable handprint Halloween hugs featuring a witch, monster, candy corn, Frankenstein, and a ghost.

Craft Supplies:

Before we get started, let’s gather the essential materials. Here’s what you’ll need for these handprint Halloween hugs:

Witch, Monster, Candy Corn, Frankenstein or Ghost Printable {all linked below}
Cardstock Paper
Paint Crayons
Pencil
Scissors
Stapler
Ribbon

Having these materials on hand will make the crafting process smooth and enjoyable. You can find most of these items at your local craft store or order them online.

Directions:

First things first – print out your desired “Halloween friend” on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
Use the crayons to color in the design however you like.
When done, trim out the shape and discard excess paper.
Next grab your colored cardstock paper and pencil.
Trace your hand TWICE on the paper.
Trim out both designs.
Now grab the ribbon and cut off TWO long pieces.
To finish off the paper Halloween hug craft, simply staple the ribbon and handprint cutouts to each side of the decorated cutout.
Add any other embellishments you see fit.
Then display as is or gift away to spread some cheer this spooky season!
