Craft Supplies:

Before you begin, gather all the necessary materials. You’ll need:

  • ACORN PRINTABLE {on our landing page}
  • Cardstock Paper {white}
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Crayons
  • School Glue or Glue Stick
  • Googly Eyes
  • Embellishments

Having everything ready before you start will make the crafting process smoother and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Directions:

  • First download and print the FREE just dropping by acorn template listed above, on a single piece of cardstock paper. You will need to print ONE for each craft you want to do with your child.
  • Have kids use crayons to color in the bottom portion of the acorn design.
  • Now help your child cut/tear their second sheet of brown paper into small pieces.
  • Next grab the school glue and put a good amount of glue on the “cap” design in the printable.
  • Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s is completely covered.
  • The final step is to add the googly eyes to finish off the acorn’s face.
  • Once done decorating, set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting your child’s adorable acorn proudly!
