To complete this “It’s Cold Outside” winter craft, the first thing you need to do is print out our FREE mitten template {listed above} on a single sheet of cardstock paper. It can be ANY color paper you like but I highly recommend a light shade of blue. If desired, have children color in the mitten design with crayons or markers.
Next up, help children add their painted handprint in the center of the printed mitten design. Make sure you really wiggle each finger so the paint transfers completely. Wash excess paint off hands and set aside the paper to let it dry completely.
