Today’s paper kangaroo craft doesn’t require any complex tools or materials, just some simple everyday items like paper plates and glue. Have lots of fun crafting together and make lasting memories with this unique project!
Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate
- Brown Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- School Glue
- Light Brown Paper
- Kangaroo Printable – on our landing page
- Scissors
- Large Wiggle Eyes
- Markers
Directions:
- First things first – cut your large paper plate in half. Straight up the center to make TWO equal pieces.
- Reserve one half for today’s half and save the other for a rainy day!
- Now grab your brown craft paint.
- Paint the paper plate piece completely brown. This will be the baby kangaroo’s pouch.
- Set aside when done.
- Now grab your printed printable.
- Trim out the design and discard excess paper.
- Glue on the googly eyes and draw on his nose.
- To finish off the baby kangaroo in mama’s pouch craft, glue the cutout to the back of the painted paper plate.
- Add any other embellishments you see fit.
- Allow it to try completely.
- Then display proudly!!!
