Flower Card Idea For Mother’s Day

Spring has sprung and there are SEVERAL opportunities coming up, where you and your child, might need something “quick” to gift to someone special.

From Mother’s Day to Easter and even teacher appreciation, our super quick kid made paper flowerpot gift card holder will definitely come in handy for you!

I’ve even included a free flower printable {it’s the Glued To My Crafts‘ way!} to get you started with ease!

So don’t delay – find all the details below. Then help your child in the crafty making of this adorable flower gift card holder and get ready to see the lucky receiver light up with big smiles.

Flower Card Idea For Mother's Day Flower Gift Card Holder Craft Idea

Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Why not show mom you care with a fun DIY flower gift card holder craft! It’s an easy and creative way to show how much you love her!

Craft Supplies:

  • Free Flower Printable
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons, Colored Pencils, Markers etc.
  • Scissors
  • Large Removable Glue Dots
  • Jumbo Popsicle Stick
  • Green Cardstock Paper

Directions:

  • First things first – paint one side of your jumbo popsicle stick completely green.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Next up – print out the FREE provided flower file, listed in the supply list above, in a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Print one flower printable per gift.
  • Once the printable is printed on the white cardstock paper, go ahead and color the flower however you like. Go to town on this step and really make it your own!
  • When done, use your scissors to trim out the flower.
  • Discard excess paper.
  • Now grab your painted jumbo popsicle stick, the flower cutout, gift card and glue dots.
  • Use a large glue dot to secure the decorated paper flower to a painted jumbo popsicle stick.
  • Follow that up by using a glue dot {or two} to secure the gift card to the center of the flower.
  • To finish off the craft, cut out a simple stem shape from the green cardstock paper and adhere it in place as well.
  • And that’s it! Add any other embellishments you see fit and gift it away proudly!

From Mother's Day to Easter and even teacher appreciation, our super quick kid made paper flower gift card holder will be a real winner!

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • 1 Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Mother's Day Printable - Landing Page
  • Gift Card
  • Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
  • Scissors
  • Large Glue Dots

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!

Directions:

  • First things first - paint one side of your jumbo popsicle stick completely green.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
