In today’s blog post, I will be sharing a creative Valentine’s Day craft idea that will not only be a fun activity for children but also allow them to express their love in a unique way. Get ready for “Trunk Full of Love,” a simple yet adorable DIY project that your kids will surely enjoy.

So grab your crafting supplies and get ready to fill up those trunks with lots of love!

Elephant Trunk Full of Love - Paper Valentine Craft Idea For Kids To DIY

Get ready to unleash your creativity as we guide you step by step through this easy yet delightful project!

Craft Supplies:

  • Valentine Elephant Printable
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Colored Cardstock or Scrapbook Paper
  • Glue Stick or School Glue
  • Small Heart Paper Punch

Directions:

  • First things first – download and print the FREE printable listed above, on one sheet of white cardstock. You only need one “Trunk Full of Love” printable per craft.
  • Now grab your colored cardstock and small paper heart punch.
  • Punch out a handful of hearts for your craft.
  • Next, with your choice of glue, make little dots of adhesive on the provided marks in the printable.
  • One by one, place the small heart pieces on top of the glue dots you just made, until each spot is covered.
  • If desired {and for a full look} punch out more hearts and glue those on top of your design.
  • And that’s it! Add other embellishments you see fit and sign your name to your Heart Showering Paper Valentine Elephant Piece before displaying it proudly for all to see!
