Paper Star Santa Fox

This Christmas, get the kids in on some of the crafting fun with this easy kid craft idea.

It’s a great way to use up any leftover materials you might have lying around, and it comes together quickly and easily.

Let your imagination run wild and see what kinds of festive creatures you can create!

Like I mentioned above, I had no intention of bringing woodland friends into our craft plans this year {although I did share a Santa Fox idea three years ago on Glued To My Crafts!}

But as I was cleaning up my craft room drawers earlier this week, I started brainstorming some ideas in my head when I came across a few extra printouts I made for our Star Shaped Santa tutorial last month

One thing led to another and here we are today with this latest kids craft tutorial! This is going to be a SUPER quick idea that is just as easy for me to write up, as it is for you to put together on the fly!

So find the full steps and material lists below! Happy crafting and stepping outside the traditional, my friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your Santa friends with us by tagging us on Facebook or Instagram. We can’t wait to see your Santa foxes in action! #gluedtomycrafts

Directions:

  • First things first – download and print out the STAR shaped printable, on your choice of colored cardstock paper.
  • Go ahead and trim out the star shape from the printable.
  • Discard excess paper.
  • Now grab all your remaining cardstock pieces.
  • Cut out a Santa hat AND a large, round circle for his nose.
  • Next up – grab your paper star shape, all the paper pieces and the school glue.
  • Go ahead and start gluing your cardstock pieces in place, on the paper star shape in the designated areas. I suggest starting with the nose first.
  • Finish off the Santa Fox Paper Craft by gluing on his TWO wiggle eyes.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit and display!
  • If you would like to make this into an ornament for the tree, hole punch the top of the Santa piece and string some ribbon through it!
