Slime-Tastic Day Gift Tag Printable

Calling all my “gift givers” and slime lovers!!!

It’s NO SECRET but slime is STILL a BIG craze right now. Like seriously – who knew this “DIY idea” would take off with kids these days?! From Youtube videos to even Etsy stores online, selling their handmade concoctions. EVERYONE is going crazy over the “sticky” creation!

So when I was brainstorming ideas the other day for Glued To My Crafts, I thought it was pretty fitting to share a slime themed gift idea that you can give for a birthday party, a classroom gift or even just because to a friend and/or family member to enjoy one rainy afternoon.

I truly believe, that the best gifts come in a crafty form!!! Heck, you could gift this “bucket of slime” to someone and THEN make it together with them – right?!

But no gift is complete without a “punny” gift tag 😉 So here I am today, to your rescue! I’ve made it super easy for YOU to pull together this DIY slime-tastic gift idea and really seal the deal with an awesome gift tag!

From there, all you need is a plastic paint bucket {Michaels in their gift aisle} and some Elmer’s products to really tie it together! I even put the NEW Elmer’s Slime Solution in my bucket but you could of course, skip that and put a simple bottle of contact solution/small pack of baking soda instead.

Other “fancy” slime supplies could be sequins, colorful glitter, feathers, shaving cream – whatever you think they would like for their slime making. Maybe even a couple mixing tools would be cool or some small storage bottles for afterwards.

It doesn’t need to be elaborate either! A couple bottles of simple white school glue and a travel size contact solution would work too! Slime making doesn’t need to be expensive, so keep that in mind as well!

FREE PRINTABLE & DIRECTIONS:

  • So now for the fun part – if you would like to take advantage of this FREE “Have A Slime-Tastic Day!” gift tag printable, just grab our FREE file from our gift tag landing page, print it out in color on some inexpensive white cardstock paper and trim each section out with scissors and/or a paper trimmer.
  • Then grab a container for your slime making supplies, fill it up and top it off with your handmade gift tag! You can easily attach it with a simple hole punch and pretty twine. That’s pretty much it – sounds easy, right?
  • You could also “skip” building your own slime kit and purchase a premade kit from Elmer’s {I’ve found them at Target and Walmart in the school supply aisle} attach the gift tag on there instead! 🙂
  • So many ways to take this idea and I hope you run with it! After all, slime is super fun and you should make it at least once in your lifetime!!!

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
