Ho Ho Ho – it’s another simple Santa themed kid craft idea on Glued To My Crafts! This time it’s titled Mixed Media Paper Doily Santa!

Santa Made From A Paper Doily

Whip up this super easy and festive kid’s Christmas craft idea in no time! All you need is some paper doilies, scissors, glue, and a little creativity. Your kids will love getting their hands dirty making these colorful Santa creations. Merry crafting!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cardstock Paper
  • Large Circular WHITE Paper Doily
  • Skin Tone Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • School Glue
  • Basic Craft Scissors
  • Large Wiggle Eyes
  • Large Red Pom Poms

Directions:

  • First things first – take your red cardstock and have children cut a LARGE triangle out of it. It doesn’t need to be perfect at all. This is Santa’s body.
  • Glue it to another sheet of cardstock {in a different shade of color – I used green}
  • Now grab your paper doily. This is Santa’s beard and face. Take some skin tone paint and paint the inner circle part of the doily.
  • Next glue that newly paint doily into the center of your cardstock with the red triangle.
  • To finish off your Paper Doily Santa craft, add embellishments like wiggle eyes, pom pom nose and a belt towards the bottom to really tie it together.
  • Once done, set aside to let it dry completely, before displaying proudly!
